Do we have netflixs yet so that we can watch movies in our copious free time? I am thinking of getting it.

Yay! Carrie's in Spain! Carrie, I got your message today when I drove into town and was very sad when I called you back and got your "I'm in Spain and I won't be back until December" voicemail introduction. Alas. Sorry I didn't answer, but thanks for the call and I miss you already, even though I missed you before you left for Spain... yea, yea, yea. So I was wondering... PETER... (why isn't he on this?)...how's the house?! I heard they gave Friend catnip the other day... I'm sure that turned out well. Can't wait to see you all.

Oh, and Maine is great. Boats, birds, saltwater and tree sap.

So I thought Friend was super thirsty because she was dipping her paw in my water glass and then licking it... I filled her water bowl and she's still dipping her paw in my water glass. Our cat is nuts.

Also, I still don't have a visa... if the whole Spain thing doesn't work out, I'm planning on moving into the house on one of the many extra beds and I promise to make you guys lunches and we can all speak in Spanish and it will be almost like I'm in Spain... right? EEK!

What we need... and don't need

Awwweee... we're so cute! We call ourselves kitten house, and we have a blog, and everything! House, I think we're going to going to have to keep the fact that we call ourselves Kitten House on the DL. I mentioned it to a couple Rugby guys, and they seemed genuinely upset and disgusted. Ah well. All is good in Nofo. Work is getting craazy, there're only three days left. The house is great. All it needs is some tapestries, posters and other decorations for these rediculously white walls. Also, do we have a good TV? Oh, and a dining-room-tableish sort of thing? I think it'd be nice to have a big table that we can spread projects on, and eat at on occasion. I know just the place for it... House trip to Ikea?! I think so...

Things we don't need: kitchen appliances, utensils, pasta, rice, herbs, cans of green beans, frozen vedgetables, Dr. Pepper, couches, beds, wine glasses, refridgerators... etc. We do need a tart pan, however. And a double boiler.

The biggest news in my life at the moment is that Be-Like is back in town! Yaay! Everyone is slowly returning... and Peter comes on Friday! Shit, that's soon. Couldn't be soon enough. Seth, Brian, I'm coming to New York sometime next week (Tues, Wed or Thurs). Mayhaps I'll see you there...

holy fucking shit we have a blog now!!!

can we swear in the blog?

i, sadly, am leaving my beautiful bronx apartment tomorrow evening. however, i will be consoled by dear brain, who will become my roommate prematurely. to review for the blog my last week. i visited perkins over the weekend, along with my HS basketball coach and Tanzania friends. perkins has a beautiful apartment and a lovely, yet busy life. one of my TZ friends turned out to be a lesbian and made out with her girlfriend in perkins kitchen. my basketball coach, fid, is a funny as ever. he gave me a great historical tour of his home city. we saw fight on sat night. after brandon and i almost fought the guy for comments about masha and racial slurs, he picked another guy. there were lots of tables and chairs kicked around. aside from that i am preparing to retire to the countryside.

too bad this doesn't have a good spell check.

p.s. i got an overdue notice from the olaf libe tonight. remember school everyone?
